Miaja and Stephen’s beautiful spring Dawes Arboretum engagement session happened back when the flowers were just barely coming out on the magnolia trees.  They had just started to blossom, and really only about 2 trees were blooming.  One was going crazy, and we took full advantage of that one tree! The seasons are so crazy every year.  Last year in April all of the flowers had been blooming for weeks, and all of the trees were flowering.  This April hardly anything was out. I really was super excited to see that we had at least 1 Magnolia tree really going crazy.

We have already photographed their wedding that was at Denison in May – it was gorgeous, and I can’t wait to share it with you soon!  For now, enjoy their spring engagement session at one of my favorite places to shoot.  I am so thankful that they came out to Dawes and I know we got so many amazing pictures! They are naturals in front of the camera and a pure joy to work with!
